GOMU Male Masters Athlete of the Year
Methodology:
Performances are assessed based on the current world records for multi-day events, specifically the distances covered in 48-hour, 72-hour, 6-day, and 10-day competitions.
The process is straightforward and transparent, as it does not involve any voting; instead, it simply identifies the athlete with the highest percentage ranking for the year.
This evaluation method was developed by Radi Milev, a Bulgarian ultrarunner, scientist, and statistician, who is also an IAU world age group record holder.

In addition, Megan's 72-hour 323.321 miles (520.335 km) achievement is the world's best performance for women in 2025, with only one man covering more kilometers in that time.
Her 48-hour run of 227.018 miles (365.350 km) is equally impressive, particularly as it is part of her overall 6-day running total.
